Amazing day of island adventures
Tokerau was my guide and we hit it off immediately. I got along with him well and maintain a friendship to this day. He knows all about the history on the island and I learned a ton. He made sure that I was comfortable throughout the day and we did everything at a good pace. I highly recommend and visiting and also Tokerau as your tour guide if he's available! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unforgettable Perspective on Rapa Nui
I’ll admit, when I bumped into a fellow Australian traveler yesterday, we joked that it was a long way to fly just to see "some rocks." But after spending today with our guide, I realized how wrong that perspective was. ​Taking a tour with a local expert changed everything. Seeing these monuments is one thing, but hearing the history, the cultural significance, and the sheer engineering mystery behind them from someone who truly knows the island is a whole other experience. ​The depth of knowledge and the passion for the Rapa Nui heritage made the day truly unique. It was an amazing experience and a highlight of my time in Chile. A terrific experience when visiting Easter Island
This was a great experience and were able to take in all of the sights. Our guide, Tokerau Hey (Toki) was spectacular. He was very attentive to our needs and took his time with us explaining everything along the way. It was very much visible that he cared about us for our time with him on the island. He was very passionate about making sure we knew all of the history and information on each of the sites. Our private tour with him was exceptional and since then anyone that we communicate with in person and from other Facebook chat groups, we recommend that they request to have Toki as their guide when visiting Rapa Nui (Easter Island). Since we were also going to be the some extra time, he also gave us some recommendations of things that we could do with walking distance from our hotel before our return back to the USA.

A great two days, with a great guide.
Highly recommend booking a tour of Easter Island with Tokerau! We booked 2 days with him, which covered most of the main sites on Rapa Nui - 6/7 per day. We were picked up promptly every morning and the tour lasted from about 9:30-3:30 each day. The tours fit together beautifully, each site done is a specific order to build on what you’ve already learned and tell the story of Rapa Nui and its peoples chronologically. At every site you learned something new. The sites are also nicely varied - it’s not just Moai (though there are many of those). You leave feeling like you learned and saw a lot. Tokerau was excellent - he is from Rapa Nui and is clearly passionate about the island, its history and heritage. He’s very good humoured and we had a lovely two days with him! The company is relatively new. Tokerau has a lot of experience in hospitality and has just started Easter Island Heritage. In future I’m sure even more tours will be available, but for now, if you’re looking for a guide, he’s the best (as he will jokingly tell you himself)!

The southern cross comes alive!
Toké gave a fantastic presentation on Polynesian navigation while we sat surf side under a Milky Way strewn sky 🌌. No skills required! He preset his telescope so even this novice was able to glimpse celestial curiosities! Amazing astronomical experience - unforgetable!!!
It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. It began with an excellent introduction to the basics of astronomy, the history of Polynesia and the Polynesian people. This was followed by the observation of various celestial objects, all in a very friendly atmosphere with refreshments provided. Rapa Nui tiene una mística increíble, pero sumarle la experiencia de observar las estrellas y contemplar los moáis bajo el cielo nocturno es simplemente de otro nivel. Tokerau destaca por su amplio conocimiento, entregando la información de manera clara y cercana, lo que enriquece profundamente toda la experiencia. No solo se aprende sobre la cosmovisión rapanui, sino que también se logra comprender cómo los primeros habitantes utilizaron la observación de las estrellas para orientarse y llegar a la isla. Además, la experiencia incluye la observación de los principales astros a través de un telescopio, cantos tradicionales rapanui y un agradable momento de descanso bajo el cielo estrellado. Además te toman una hermosa foto, un recuerdo que perdurará para siempre <3 Sin duda, es una vivencia que llena el corazón de magia y conocimiento. The best guide
I went to Easter Island on a solo trip. A colleague had recommended Tokerau as a guide, and he was simply fantastic. We did two full days of tours. He was extremely kind and had a vast knowledge of the history. I 100% recommend him.
